How do I get more Azure credits?

You can get more Azure credits by moving to the next level in Founders Hub. In addition to more credits, you’ll get additional time in the program. You may get other benefits as well, such as partner offers or personalized support.  


To move to the next level, you’ll need to provide additional information and supporting documentation about your business. To add this information, follow these steps: 


  1. Log in to the Microsoft for Startups Founders Hub.   

  1. On the Home tab, go to See all tasks. This will list the tasks required to move to the next level. 

  1. Once you have completed all tasks, select the Submit request button.  

  1. If your request is approved, you will receive additional Azure credits and time in the program. Your Azure sponsorship end date will change to one year from the time of that approval. You will also have that extended time to redeem other benefits; however, receiving more benefits does not extend the duration of non-Azure benefits you have already activated. 


Note: If you are at Level 4, you have reached the highest level in Founders Hub and are ineligible to level up. 

How long does it take to pass business or domain verification?

Verification takes 7 business days. This is required to move beyond the Ideate phase. Therefore, we recommend beginning this process at least 1 month before you would like to move up levels, so there is time to gather all relevant documents.
